Hi I’m Smokey. I was found about 3 years ago when I was a baby in the Everglades. A deputy named Blake adopted me and took care of me but he couldn’t take me home so he made me a nice home at the sub station. I guess that’s how I got my name because I hang around all the cops. (more…)

Feline’s Pride is expanding its July 1, 2010 voluntary recall of Feline’s Pride Raw food with ground bone for cats and kittens, Natural Chicken Formula, Net Wt. 2.5 lbs. (1.13 kg., 40 oz.) produced on 6/10/10 to include the product produced on 6/21/10, because it may be contaminated with Salmonella. People handling raw pet food can become infected with Salmonella, especially if they have not thoroughly washed their hands after having contact with the raw pet food or any surfaces exposed to the product.

Look at this poor little fella…He looks like he has seen better days. Can those be ticks? He definitely is in need of much needed care. Someone please give him a chance. The Grand Re-opening of the Humane Society Naples was held the weekend of June 26^th and 27^th.   WHAT A PLACE!!!   We had an amazing time and as always, met wonderful people and pets that steal your heart.   As a certified Animal Massage Practitioner, I was a lucky girl and was asked to do pet massage for the ‘furry’ guests!
